One of the things every Takarazuka fan needs to do when visiting the the Grand Theater is to go to the Salon de Takarazuka. It's kinda like glamour shots, Takarazuka style. You get to pick out a costume to try on and they take a picture of you in it with appropriate backdrop.
It's so much fun and always one of the highlights on my trips to Japan! The ladies working there were so sweet and helpful despite the huge language barrier, and they actually remember and recognize us. I'm not sure if that's awesome or scary. Probably both...
The first costume up there is der Tod (Death) from Elisabeth. The second is a revue tuxedo but I'm not sure from which show. The third is one of Oscar's military uniforms from Rose of Versailles. I am actually using my own wig because I didn't like the one they had. (Uh yes, I actually took it to Japan just for this. ^^; It got a little smushed in transit which is why it looks somewhat bedraggled.)
