Sleeping Beauty is my favorite Disney movie so when Cheryll suggesed we do the fairies as a fun hall costume, I was totally on board. Fauna's cluelessness is rather appropriate for me... and I have about the same level of cooking skill as her too...

I think one of the hardests parts of this costume was just finding the right color fabrics to match that 70s palette from the movie. I have to admit that I have never had to fit for such a large bust size on myself either, so it was pretty interesting. Nothing in my prior sewing experience had prepared me for trying to fit myself with DDs. Judy had to come in and help me after I screwed up my first fitting.

I love seeing people's reactions when they see us as the fairies, and I can't wait to wear it again!
