I think the eyeliner decided me. How can you resist a costume with that much eyeliner? Oh and the armor is nifty too.
The armor was made from cast polyurethane resin, the helmets are part vacuum-formed, part resin, and the shields are heat-shaped polycarbonate foam. It was quite the learning experience making these.
The bad: everyone had all their limbs. That means double the armor pieces. Next time, everyone is only allowed to have one arm apiece, cause I don't want to have to do everything 10x again.
The good: the absolute shock from the audience at Comic-Con when we took off our helmets and they realized we were all girls. You don't really think guys wear that much make-up into battle do you?
